Headphone type: Open, around the ear
Sound quality: Very good, but has too much bass for some use cases. Can be easily fixed with equalization.
When did I buy them: Sometime in the last 5-10 years.
How much did they cost: I believe 189€ or something like that.
What condition are they in: Not great. The left ear cup is busted a bit, which causes some distortion in bass heavy situtations at high volume. The right earpad is falling apart, but still hanging on. Same thing for the earband.
Cord type and what cords I have: Replaceable. Proprietary. 1.2 or 3.0 m (3.5 mm), 3.0 m (6.35 mm)
They're mainly stationed at my headphone amplifier (which is an old, near broken Pioneer speaker/headphone amp, that is barely holding on to dear life), which in turn is connected to System #1 - AMD Phenom II x4 925 PC.
They remain connected to that PC because I still consider it my main PC, and I have music production software on it. These are still, the best sounding pair of headphones I have, so that's why I use them.
I sometimes connect the AKG K371 to the amp if I need to consider the noise leakage, from either direction (so I can hear, or others don't hear me). The AKG K371 doesn't really need an amp, but I don't feel like ripping out the audio cable from the sound card, so instead to the amp they go.
