Android version: 5
Headphone jack: Yes, but it's slowly breaking.

Removable battery: Yes. I have two.
Phone size: Just right.
Display: 480p, nice and comfy.
RAM: 1 GB which is enough for VLC media player and Newpipe, I don't need anything else.
Rest of the specs can be found at GSMARENA.COM (outside link).
It's permanently in my bedroom. I use it to watch and listen to mainly Youtube videos (via NewPipe, naturally), meditations, ASMR stuff and audiobooks when I go to bed. The files are on the phone storage, of course, for reliable offline usage and extended battery life with the WiFi turned off.
It's my comfy trusty relaxing white noise machine to keep my mind nice and blank <3
I got a new phone (for free, of course) to replace this phone! Check its own article for more info. So, currently this phone is without a purpose. I'll see if I can figure something out... Use case suggestions via email are welcome..
It is currently being used by my child as a standalone, offline audiobook listening device. Audiobooks ripped into .ogg vorbis files, then put on the SD card and used with VLC :')
I bought this phone to become my main phone back in 2015 or 2016. The phone cost me around 120-130€. It was my second ever smartphone, and the first one I actually purchased myself, after Samsung Galaxy Gio (outside link) which I got second hand from my older brother. The Gio was pretty damn bad but servicable for the time, but I finally bought this when the headphone jack of the Gio broke. Back then I used to have two dedicated audio/mp3 players too though. Oh how time flies.
This was back when there was real and noticable differences between low end, midrange and flagship phones. Back then, buying a flagship phone was a reasonable decision.
Anyway, I soon become annoyed with applications constantly closing. It's not a true multitasking device. I think I got my ex's Huawei Honor 7 (outside link) to replace it at some point, but I'm not entirely sure in what order it went down...
At some point, I begun experimenting with it as a secondary device for specific purposes described above. For that, it works well and I'm happy with it.
Only problem is the headphone jack, which is slowly but surely breaking. After that, I'll need to figure something out. Here's to hoping it lasts a long time in this state.
